Hyperlinks have two basic parts: the address (URL) of the webpage and the display text. For example, the address could be , and the display text could be Popular Science Magazine.
Enter your hyperlinks text. In the Text to display, Text, or http:// field, enter the text that you want to display as the link. For example, you might type click here in this box to create a link to the page that activates when someone clicks the words click here in your email.
You may have to use (Command+click) on the table first to enable this. To see the navigational window on the left, click on View then Show/Hide then Navigation Panes and then click on Show Navigation Pane. This will allow you to click to individual sections.
On ribbon, on the Insert tab, select Link. You can also right-click the text or picture and click Link on the shortcut menu. In the Insert Hyperlink box, type or paste your link in the Address box. Note: If you dont see the Address box, make sure Existing File or Web Page is selected under Link to.
Bookmark the location Select text, a picture, or a place in your document where you want to insert a bookmark. Click Insert Bookmark. Under Bookmark name, type a name and click Add.
Now place the cursor at the position you want to insert the table of linkable contents, click References Table of Contents Custom Table of Contents. 3. In the Table of Contents dialog, keep Show page numbers, Right align page numbers and Use hyperlinks instead of page numbers options checked, click Options.
To make a hyperlink in an HTML page, use the and tags, which are the tags used to define the links. The tag indicates where the hyperlink starts and the tag indicates where it ends. Whatever text gets added inside these tags, will work as a hyperlink.
Select the text or picture that you want to display as a hyperlink. Press Ctrl+K. You can also right-click the text or picture and click Link on the shortcut menu.
Add a link. Tap an object, text box, or selected text you want to turn into a link, then tap Link. to see Link. Tap Link To and choose a link type (Webpage, Email, Phone Number, Page, or Bookmark).
Create the index Click where you want to add the index. On the References tab, in the Index group, click Insert Index. In the Index dialog box, you can choose the format for text entries, page numbers, tabs, and leader characters. You can change the overall look of the index by choosing from the Formats dropdown menu.
