How to Lightico Prevent Printing PDF
This video tutorial demonstrates how to disable PDF printing. To protect a document, open Windows Explorer, locate the PDF file, right-click, and choose "Make Secure PDF." In the PDF writer, go to the printing and viewing tab, ensure the allowed printing checkbox is deselected, then click "Publish." The protection status window confirms success. The protected document now has a .pdc extension and can only be opened with Lock Lizard Secure PDF Viewer. Printing is disabled, and the Print icon is greyed out in the viewer. Keyboard shortcuts for printing are also disabled.

Heres how: Open the document in Power PDF. Navigate to the Security tab and click Manage Security. Check the box that says, Set a password to restrict editing of security settings. Enter a password. Set restrictions, including whether to allow printing and which changes you wish to allow.
