hey everyone this is gliapan and today i want to show something fun imagine i have a list of checkboxes and for each checkbox i have a label and the label is connected to a checkbox using labels4 attribute wherever for attribute value is the id of a checkbox some of the checkboxes are checked for example i do love apples im not a big fan of peaches i do like grapes but i really dont eat a lot of mango heres the test i want to write i want to find all the check check boxes right which is like two check boxes and for each checkbox i want to find the label that describes it and confirm the text of the checked labels how do i do that well we cannot directly select the labels because we dont know the value of a checkbox so probably what we should do is find all the check boxes first now we can try writing something like this well say input type check box and this will give us all four check boxes but its hard to add multiple parameters here right so if i say checked then it complains

Show activity on this post. Method 1: Wrap Label Tag. Wrap the checkbox within a label tag: Text Method 2: Use the for Attribute. Explanation.
Use a tag with the class named label. Add an element with the type, name, and value attributes within the tag.
var elem2 = document. createElement(label); elem2. setAttribute(value,something); labelView. appendChild(elem2);
The name property sets or returns the value of the name attribute of a checkbox. The name attribute is used to identify form data after it has been submitted to the server, or to reference form data using JavaScript on the client side.
Since youre using jQuery the alternative solution will attach the click event to the common class and get the label from the currently clicked one like the example below. That because youve fixed id var label=getLabel(checkboxid1); in your code, FIXED NOW : updated my answer by adding dynamic ones
Labels for radio buttons and checkboxes are positioned after the field. These positions are defined because that is the usual (and therefore most predictable) position for the label for fields, radiobuttons and checkboxes. Labels are positioned before input fields since the fields sometimes vary in length.
We specify the margin-bottom of our element. Then, we set the display of the element to inline-block and give a fixed width. After that, set the text-align property to right, and the labels will be aligned with the inputs on the right side.
In a checklist, the check boxes should come before the text, no question. Users are looking to be taking action on the checkboxes, and are scanning as above.
Below are the methods: Using checkbox inside label tag: html head title Create an HTML checkbox with a clickable label. Using the for attribute: Create a checkbox using input tag then create a label for the created checkbox using the for attribute. html head title
