You need to locate the document you want to protect in Windows Explorer, right-click on the PDF, and choose "Make Secure PDF." In the PDF writer, select the printing and viewing tab, ensure the allowed printing checkbox is deselected, and click "Publish." The protection status window will confirm success. The protected document will have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with the Lock Lizard Secure PDF Viewer. Printing is disabled, indicated by a greyed-out print icon in the viewer.
