This tutorial demonstrates how to disable printing in a PDF document using a PDF writer. After selecting the document in Windows Explorer, choose "make secure PDF" and deselect the allowed printing checkbox in the printing tab. The protected document will now have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with Lock Lizard Secure PDF Viewer. Printing is disabled in the document, as confirmed by the greyed-out print icon in the viewer. This effectively prevents printing using keyboard shortcuts.
