The keyboard shortcut to join lines in docHub Illustrator is Command + J for Mac users, and Ctrl + J for Windows users. If youre not a shortcut person, you can also go to the overhead menu and choose Object Path Join.
To do that, go to the Image Trace panel, click Mode, and select Black and White from the preset drop-down menu. Then click Trace in the bottom right corner of the Image Trace window. And Done!
Select all the shapes using the Selection Tool. While all the shapes are selected, select the Pathfinder Tool (displayed below in red). Now select the Unite selection (displayed below in green). Your shapes should now be combined to form a single shape.
