in this video we shall have a look at powerpoint and how to align and size shapes on a powerpoint slide so here we have a simple blank layout slide we have a text box and two shapes different sizes and certainly not aligned in this version of powerpoint 365 there are two ways in which you can align these shapes to the top most shape heres method one first of all lets select the first shape we put our finger on the left hand shift button press it down select shapes two and three youll notice now you can let go of your finger a new tab arrives called shape format if you go to a line on the far right hand side and the line top there are aligned to the top most shape which of course is the text box lets just undo that now back to where we were method two if we begin to move we deselect our our shapes and move our shape up you can see theres a red dotted line which appears to the top most align of the first shape lets do the same with a third shape move it up past the center and agai
