Much like you use folders to organize your files, you can use sections to organize your slides into meaningful groups. You can assign each colleague a section to make slide ownership clear during collaboration.
Merge shapes Select the shapes you want to merge: press and hold the Shift key while you select each shape in turn. On the Shape Format tab, in the Insert Shapes group, select Merge Shapes, and then pick the option you want. Select the Merge option you want.
To add notes to your slides, do the following: On the View menu, click Normal. Select the thumbnail of the slide you want to add notes to. The notes pane will appear beneath your slide. Click where it says Click to add notes and type whatever notes youd like to add. To hide the notes pane, click the Notes button.
Press and hold CTRL while you click the shapes, pictures, or other objects to group. You will need to select more than one shape, picture or object in order to enable the Group button. You can select all the objects on a slide by pressing CTRL+A. Select the Arrange button and choose Group.
Merge shapes Select the shapes you want to merge: press and hold the Shift key while you select each shape in turn. On the Shape Format tab, in the Insert Shapes group, select Merge Shapes, and then pick the option you want. Select the Merge option you want.
Click the Drawing Tools Format, Drawing Format or Shape Format tab in the Ribbon. In the Insert Shapes group, click Merge Shapes and then select Intersect from the drop-down menu.
Merge the Picture with a Shape Select the image. Go to Picture Format tab. Under Send Backward option, click on the drop-down arrow. Select Send to Back. Select the shape by holder the shift key. Go to Shape Format Tab. Under Merge Shape, click on the drop-down arrow. Click on Intersect.
Group objects Press and hold Ctrl while you select each object. Select Shape Format Group Group. Format or move the grouped object however you want.
