Merge shapes Select the shapes you want to merge: press and hold the Shift key while you select each shape in turn. (If you dont select any shapes, then the Merge Shapes button in step 2 will be grayed out.) On the Shape Format tab, in the Insert Shapes group, select Merge Shapes, and then pick the option you want.
To add a world map to your slide: On the PowerPoint Ribbon click on the Insert tab. Click Chart to open the Insert Chart dialog. Click on Map in the All Charts list. Click OK to insert a general world map into your PowerPoint presentation.
To insert a hyperlink to another file: Right-click the selected text or image, then click Hyperlink. The Insert Hyperlink dialog box will appear. On the left side of the dialog box, click Existing File or Webpage. Click the drop-down arrow to browse for your file. Select the desired file. Click OK.
Create Folder Launch PowerPoint. Click File and select Save As from the tab ribbon. Select the destination in which to store your PowerPoint folder from the menu pane in the Save As dialog box. Click the icon of a folder with an asterisk from the Save As toolbar to create a new folder.
Open your main presentation. Select the Review tab at the top function bar. Click on the Compare function to find your other source presentation. Browse for the presentation you want to merge with and press Merge to combine the slides from both presentations.
To hyperlink to an existing file, select Existing file or Web Page under Link to. Navigate to the folder where you have the file within the window, then select and click OK. If you want to link to a specific slide in a separate PowerPoint file, click the Bookmark button.
