Start Excel. A new, blank workbook appears. Click the Insert Worksheet tab at the bottom of the screen. Press and hold the CTRL key, and then click Sheet1, Sheet2, and so on till you finish selecting all your worksheets.
Combine data with the Ampersand symbol () Select the cell where you want to put the combined data. Type = and select the first cell you want to combine. Type and use quotation marks with a space enclosed. Select the next cell you want to combine and press enter. An example formula might be =A2 B2.
The MATCH function searches for a specified item in a range of cells, and then returns the relative position of that item in the range. For example, if the range A1:A3 contains the values 5, 25, and 38, then the formula =MATCH(25,A1:A3,0) returns the number 2, because 25 is the second item in the range.
Click the location inside the cell where you want to break the line or insert a new line and press Alt+Enter.
