you mentioned that youre wanting to win now your baby seven months old but shes not liking the taste of formula and shes not really liking the bottle so theres a couple of different things you can try first of all babies can be really picky about the temperature and the taste of formula so there theyre used to ready-made ready to eat whenever breast milk that comes out warm its the perfect temperature for them and theyve theyve adapted it to that taste and so giving them something new kind of throws a curveball at them and they may need to slowly adjust to the taste of formula and you can actually do this by pumping breast milk and mixing breast milk and formula so say your babys going to drink four ounces mix up two ounces of formula then add it to two ounces of breast milk and then try to feed that to your baby and maybe your baby will take better to that because it still kind of tastes like the breast milk and you can slowly decrease the amount of breast milk that you add

In 1865, chemist Justus von Liebig developed, patented, and marketed an infant food, first in a liquid form and then in a powdered form for better preservation. Liebigs formulaconsisting of cows milk, wheat and malt flour, and potassium bicarbonatewas considered the perfect infant food (Radbill, 1981).
When introducing your baby to formula after breastfeeding, it may be best to do so gradually, if possible. Try to switch one feeding at a time and give formula for only that feed for a few days. Then you can repeat with another one if needed, and so on. Have someone else feed your baby with formula.
Introducing formula feeds its best to do it gradually to give your body time to reduce the amount of milk it makes this helps lower your chance of getting uncomfortable, swollen breasts, or mastitis. if youre going back to work, start a few weeks beforehand to give both of you time to readjust.
You can start by offering your baby 1 to 2 ounces of infant formula every 2 to 3 hours in the first days of life if your baby is only getting infant formula and no breast milk. Give your baby more if he or she is showing signs of hunger. Most infant formula-fed newborns will feed 8 to 12 times in 24 hours.
Thus experts generally advise introducing formula slowly, gradually replacing breastfeeding sessions with formula feeding. One method is to replace one nursing session per week with a formula feeding session. Start by giving your baby one bottle of formula at around the same time each day.
Start weaning by replacing one breast milk feeding a day with a bottle of infant formula (for your child younger than 12 months old) or with a cup of plain whole cows milk or fortified unsweetened soy beverage (for your child 12 months or older). Continue to replace more breast milk feedings over time.
For the first 6 months, breast milk is all your baby needs to meet his or her nutrition needs. If you wean your baby before 12 months of age, be sure to give an iron-fortified formula. Breastfeeding should continue until your baby is 12 months old (and after as long as baby and mom would like to continue).
If you are breastfeeding but want to introduce formula, its best to gradually reduce the amount of breastfeeds. This will help your baby get used to the change and stop your breasts becoming sore (from being too full of milk) and leaking.
