[Music] all right good day and welcome and in todays video were simply going to be looking at how to insert the date and time um also making sure that it updates automatically so this is our document going to go to the insert tab were going to go all the way over to the text section over here and look for an icon that has like a calendar and a clock and youll see when i move my mouse pointer over it tells me insert date and time so if i click on that youll see there are different available formats im just going to choose lets just say monday 12 october im going to put a tick in update automatically now by default it wont have a tick in so im going to put a tick in there and im going to click ok so whats going to happen now is when this document is opened tomorrow it will show up as tuesday the 13th of october 2020. if i open it next year this time the day the month the day and the year is all going to change so i could open it next year on tuesday the 25th of november 2021
