Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you could scan in documents or even whiteboards using either an iPhone or an Android phone entirely for free. And before we jump into this, as full disclosure, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. My HR department requires me to say this because Im going to be talking about a Microsoft product today. Now you might be wondering, well, hey, I could just use the camera app on my phone to take a picture of the document and that works fine. For example, here I am on my iPhone and I have this document and I can go ahead and lets take a quick picture of it. The thing though is its not the best quality for a scan and there are some apps out there that can take much better photos of documents. And today I want to show you one of them called the Office app made by Microsoft. Now this app will work on either an Android phone or an iPhone. Today I have an iPhone so Im going to show you how to do

PDF is fixed width and not responsive, and thats largely by design so that a PDF I see on my screen will be the same as a PDF someone else sees on their screen so that issues experienced with native files such as reflow, font substitutions, things moving etc dont happen.
In September 2020, docHub introduced Liquid Mode into docHub Reader mobile, which allows you to take any of your PDFs and view them on mobile devices. By clicking the Liquid Mode icon, docHub uses docHub Sensei to analyze the content of the PDF and reflow it into a mobile responsive reading experience.
Acrobat Reader is simple to . But, if you dont want to download the app, there are other options available to you. Google PDF Viewer will appear as an option on your Android device when you try to open a PDF, or you can select Files by Google.
All you need to do is add #view=fitH to the end of the source attribute. Thats it! fitH stands for fit horizontal, and this will make the PDF in our iframe fit the width of the screen. We can make the src attribute a template literal like below.
Implement a Responsive Layout. Optimize Website Speed. Subtle Pop-Up Implementation. Incorporate Viewport Meta tag. Declutter your Web Design. Always Test the Website on Real Mobile Devices. Update Content Carefully. Do not use Flash.
Tips for creating a mobile friendly PDF. Use bold text and 30 pt font for headlines. Use 26 pt font for paragraph text. Opt for single columns of text where possible. Apply .25 margins all around to give yourself room to work. Keep document files small in size for quicker load times.
To make the content of PDF document responsive, we need to pull all the data out of the PDF file and write them to another format that supports responsive layout. Accessing and recognizing elements of the PDF file is not easy. But fortunately, our PDFix SDK Library can do that and the results are very precise!
All the interactive elements available on desktops work well on mobile devices as well. This includes any videos, GIFs, inline and pop-up images, and outbound links you add to your FlippingBook documents.
To use your Android phone as a document camera youll need a way to mirror your phones screen to your computer. Vysor is the tool I use for that purpose. Vysor is available to for free on Windows and Mac computers. Once its installed you can mirror your Android phones screen through a USB cable.
