The date is stored in the registry value HKEYLOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\InstallDate as UNIX time (32-bit value containing the number of seconds since 1/1/1970).
If you are using Windows 10, open the Settings app. Then, go to System, and choose About. On the right side of the Settings window, look for the Windows specifications section. There, you have the installation date in the Installed on field highlighted below.
Check OS Installation Dates on Windows Hold down the Windows Key and Press R on your keyboard. Type in cmd and Press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER. Type in systeminfo and Press ENTER.
