To insert a phone symbol in a Word document, go to the Insert option and select the icon option. Search for "phone" in the search box to find various phone symbols to choose from. If the icon option is not available, go to Insert, select More Symbols, choose the font Wingdings, and select from a range of phone icons. Open the Word app on your Android device and open the document you want to check the character count for. Tap on the Review tab at the top of the screen. Look for the Word Count option and tap on it. A pop-up window will appear, displaying the number of pages, words, and characters in the document.
Using the Type tool, click to place the insertion point where you want to enter a character. Choose Type Glyphs to display the Glyphs panel. To display a different set of characters in the Glyphs panel, do any of the following: Select a different font and type style, if available.
