hello this is a geek this net on YouTube and today in libreoffice im gonna show you how to add cell padding to each cell in your document so padding allows you to add a little bit of space between the borders and your text in each cell to begin im gonna enter some text Ill just do hello were old and as you can see the text is very close to the invisible borders even if I select all of the cells and increase the height we have the issue of them being too close to the vertical orders to fix this theres a very simple solution what you want to do is select the cells you want to add padding to in this case Im going to select all of them by selecting the blank cell above a1 then right click anywhere on this page and go to format cells in the new dialog that appears go to border ease and then train spacing of contents to a higher value than 1 3 or 4 is usually a good value now as you can see the two cells we added content to is now spaced and has padding to it so the text isnt right o
