Heres a look at the basic steps youll need to take to create a simple and effective client contract: Include Contact Information of Both Parties. Specify Project Terms and Scope. Create a Project: learn how here. Once in the Project, tap the New File button. Select Contract. PLEASE NOTE: You can only attach one HoneyBook file per email. Choose to start with a blank Contract, a Contract youve drafted (but not yet sent), a recently used Contract, or a Contract Template.
To add multiple clients or contacts at once: Download our CSV template and make sure that your existing contact list follows this format exactly. Head to your Contacts tab. Click Upload CSV. Click Choose File and select your properly-formatted contact list.

When youve docHubed the email screen, click the paper clip icon in the tool bar at the bottom of the email composer. From there, you can either choose an email or file that already exists in your HoneyBook Library, or use the Upload tab to upload something new!
Under General, scroll down to the Signature section and paste in the email signature that HoneyBook sent to you. This step is where editing your signature is easy, so you can include a CTA or anything else you might have missed in the generator. Dont forget to hit Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
To add a contract template in Honeybook, first go to the top menu bar and select Tools. In the dropdown menu, you will then select Templates. On the new Templates page that opens, go to the left hand side and select Contracts. Then click on the Create a New Contract button box.
To upload images and files to your Library: From your HoneyBook home page, click the Tools menu. Select Library from the menu. Click Upload. Follow the onscreen prompts to locate and upload the images or files youll be importing.
Smart files are your client-facing documents and experiences. They allow you to create everything from simple, one-page invoices, contracts, and questionnaires all the way through to, for example, multi-step booking documents that let clients select a service, sign a contract, and make a payment in one fell swoop.
Click the signature line to open the settings sidebar, where you can decide whether that signature is required. You can also click into any email signature line to edit the text that appears there: If you need more participants to sign, click + Add Signature.
