hello everybody its Larry and welcome to todayamp;#39;s video and weamp;#39;re gonna talk about a feature that is not necessarily new to Family Tree Maker 2019 but with my DNA surprise itamp;#39;s one that Iamp;#39;ve actually made use of in order to help me determine which pieces of information I was looking at was most likely to be right and where I wanted to spend my time and effort researching in order to get the maximum results so what weamp;#39;re gonna talk about today is the places and weamp;#39;re gonna map the ancestors so Iamp;#39;m gonna go and Iamp;#39;m going to start with my father which is lark and Daniel brown Iamp;#39;m gonna click on places now unfortunately it doesnamp;#39;t bring his name across I was doing some practice stuff and hereamp;#39;s his father so Iamp;#39;m gonna have to go down to Larkin and heamp;#39;s very bottom of this list yeah it pulls him up now this does have an error and it seems to be kind of consistent if the second and the last

Can I upload a FTM file to Ancestry?

How do I upload my tree from Family Tree Maker 2017 or Family Tree Maker 2019 for Windows to Ancestry? Family Tree Maker 2017 and Family Tree Maker 2019 for Windows allow you to upload your tree file directly to Ancestry, link your local and online tree, and keep them synced.

How do I add sources to Family Tree Maker?

To attach a source from the Person Tab: From the People workspace and under the Tree tab (the Family tab in some versions), select the person in your tree to whom you want to attach a source. On the right side of the screen, click the icon to add a New source.

How do I add information to my family tree?

Steps (Family Tree Lite) On the Me tab, find the place where the person belongs. Tap the appropriate link and add a spouse, child, or parent for the person. Enter the name, sex, and birth and death information. Tap Next. If you indicated that the person is alive, the data you entered is added into the system.
