From the View menu, select Show/Hide Navigation Panes Tags. This will display the tags in descending order from top to bottom. Review the tag tree of the PDF, checking to be sure headings are tagged as headings at the appropriate levels to form an outline of the page content (e.g., , , ).

In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF form. Click the Show Form Filling Toolbar button . Click a field in the form, then type your text.
Select all the elements (text and graphics) in the header or footer. Press Ctrl+C. This copies the header or footer information to the Clipboard. Select the second document.
