PDFs are great for keeping documents properly formatted and preventing easy editing, making them ideal for signed documents. On Mac OS, you can use the Preview app to add your signature to a PDF. Open the PDF in Preview, click on the marker toolbar icon, then select the signature icon. Create and save your signature using your laptop's trackpad, built-in webcam, or an iPhone/iPad. Sign your name on the trackpad using your finger, or use a force touch trackpad for a thicker stroke. Click done to save your signature, using your webcam select capture to sign.
