okay so first of all this is the document that I have been working on in the previous videos and in this video Im going to show how to make table captions and a list of tables in word so the first thing Im going to do is scroll down to the bottom because thats where Ive put all of my tables and at the moment all of my table captions are just plain text so the first thing Im going to do is select in here and then go to references and insert caption and then Im going to change the label option from figure to table then Im going to select okay then Im going to delete the second table one and then Im going to go to home and styles and Im going to select caption and right click and modify and then Im going to change the formatting so Im going to change it to black Im going to remove the italics Im going to make it a size 10 and Im gonna make it Times New Roman Im also going to change the formatting here and Im going to make the spacing smaller then Im going to select ok a

To add captions in Word, first select the object, table or equation to which you want to apply a caption. Then click the References tab in the Ribbon. Then click the Insert Caption button in the Captions button group to open the Caption dialog box.
On the References tab of the Ribbon, in the Captions group, click Cross-reference. In the Cross-reference dialog, select (in this instance) Table for Reference type. You can then choose to insert the entire caption, the label and number, or some other option.
Use the Layout option to title a slide Select the slide whose layout you will change so that it can have a title. Click Home Layout. Select Title Slide for a standalone title page or select Title and Content for a slide that contains a title and a full slide text box. Select the Click to add title text box.

To get started go to the Slide Show tab in the PowerPoint Ribbon and ensure that the Always use Subtitles option is enabled.
On the Playback tab, select Insert Captions, and then select Insert Captions. In the Insert Captions dialog box, browse to your caption file. Select the file or files and then select Insert. If you need to add more caption files, just repeat the process.
If that box is grayed out, it means you did not have the object selected when you clicked the Insert Caption button. You can hit Close in the caption pop-up, select the object, and then click the Insert Caption button if you would like to start again and use Position.
