-Hi, everyone. Thank you for joining us today for our fourth synbio and control theory breakout discussion. So far, weve had three really engaging ones. This breakout is going to be focused on scaling biocontrol methods to complex systems from cells to tissues. We have two hosts, just like our previous sessions. Professor Marcella Gomez, she is from the Applied Mathematics Department at UC Santa Cruz, and her background is in mechanical engineering. Her research interests are synthetic and systems biology. Also hosting is Dr. Eric Johnson, who is a program director at the National Cancer Institute at NIH. His interests cover automated microfluidics, tissue engineering and single cell approaches. So with that, Ill pass the virtual mic to Marcella and Eric for their introduction and to start the breakout. -Great. Thank you, Jermont. And thank you, everyone. Thanks, Eric. Right. So as Jermont mentioned, this breakout is focused on scaling of biocontrol methods to complex biological sys
