If you're on Mac OS and need to sign a PDF, you can use the built-in Preview app to add your signature. First, find and open the PDF in the app. Click on the show marker toolbar icon, then select the signature icon and create and save your signature using your laptop's trackpad, built-in webcam, or an iPhone or iPad for input. If using your trackpad, sign your name using your finger and press more firmly for a thicker stroke on a force touch trackpad. Tap any key and click done to create a signature using your webcam.
