in this video you will see how to add dotted line in powerpoint i will show you how to make a normal line dotted vertical or horizontal line like this that can be moved anywhere inside the powerpoint its very easy lets get started first click on the insert tab and you will see here the option shapes click on the drop down and select the first option line now press shift on your keyboard to draw a line if you dont press shift it will be difficult to draw a straight line so just press shift and draw a straight line now by default this is a boring blue thin line just click on it right click and click on format shapes now under the line option here you can select the color of the line lets say we will select here red color this width is the thickness of the line at present its 0.5 so we will make it lets say 5 points to make it thicker and now to make this line dotted just click on this dash type drop down and you will see two options round dot or square dot select any one you want
