My name is Kody Rogers and today Im going to be showing you how to add text to the silk screen so first you go and you select your silk screen layer here so you got f.silkscreen or the b.silkscreen I want to do the f.silkscreen because Im going to put this stuff on the front side of the pcb so click that then (to) add text you go down here and you click the text button Im just going to put Technician: KR thats me and the other way to do it is you go Ctrl+Shift+T its the keyboard shortcut and now im gonna put okay that is how you add text to your silk screen in KiCad 6.
