Creating a Classroom Bulletin Board Introduction: Creating a Classroom Bulletin Board. Hi! Step 1: Choose a Theme. Step 2: Select a Color Palette. Step 3: Make a Supply List. Step 5: Arrange the Items. Step 6: Add the Wrapping Paper. Step 7: Attach the Border. Step 8: Add Pictures and Words.
Its so simple. First, lay the letters out on a table or flat surface under your bulletin board. Next, take painters tape or washi tape and gently press it onto the letters. Use the tape to transfer the letters onto the board.
If youre centering the head on the board, mark the center of the board with a piece of tape, then layout the letters on a table. Find the center of the headline, and begin putting up the letters from the center, working your way out to both ends. A mistake often made is to space them too far apart.

Depending on the size of your bulletin board, I like to keep bulletin board letters to about 3.5-4.5 inches. Letter size paper is 11 inches tall (if you have it in portrait mode), so I like to make my letters about half the size of the paper.
Look around your house for things you would like to have on your bulletin board. Special, personal items, such as photos, tickets, cards, and other flat memorabilia work very well. You can look through magazines and cut-out anything that strikes your fancy as well.
