This video tutorial demonstrates how to disable PDF printing by using a PDF writer tool. To protect a document, open Windows Explorer, right-click on the PDF, and select "make secure PDF." In the PDF writer, choose the printing and viewing tab, then deselect the allowed printing checkbox if selected. Click publish to successfully protect the document. The protected document will now have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with the Lock Lizard Secure PDF Viewer. Printing is disabled, as evidenced by the greyed-out print icon in the viewer.
