In this video, the tutorial shows how to disable printing in a PDF document to protect it. To do this, open Windows Explorer, locate the document, right-click on it, and choose "Make Secure PDF" in the PDF writer. In the printing and viewing tab, ensure that the allowed printing checkbox is deselected. Click publish to confirm the protection status, and the document will now have a .pdc extension, indicating it is a protected PDF file. Only the Lock Lizard Secure PDF Viewer can open it, and printing is disabled, as evidenced by the greyed-out print icon in the viewer.

How do I stop a PDF from being downloaded and printed?

In the customization mode, you will see a menu on the left. Choose Controls there. In the Controls, you will see the Share, Print, and Download options. Disable Print and Download.
