good morning its jeremy its wednesday may the 18th and today i want to talk about am modulation on gnu radio so here ive got a schematic on gnu radio that simulates am modulation now about a year ago um i did a similar um video on blog posts about creating an am modular using psycho slab and psychos so basically in psychos lab what i did is i created a script file and we did the am modulation theres 50 uh modulation there and theres the modulating waveform there which is a lower frequency and you can see it has the same shape as the top or the bottom of the carrier waveform so i built it in a script file and i also built it using psychos cycos is the visual component of cyclos lab i built it with blocks and theres the information signal theres the carrier signal and theres a scope and a spectrum analyzer and i also saved it and i converted it to a csv file and then i use that to drive a function generator now today were going to do it in gnu radio and were going to see the a
