Hi everyone. My name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can use mail merge to create address labels. So, what do I mean by that? Well, imagine that you have a list of addresses. So maybe in Excel or in Outlook, you have a list of maybe 30, 50, 60, maybe even hundreds of addresses and you want to print each one of those addresses onto an address label. Well, one way to do that is you could create a new address label sheet in Microsoft Word, and you could go through, and you could copy and paste each address into one of the labels and then you could print it out. But that sounds really painful and thats also going to take a long time. Today Im going to show you how you can use mail merge in Word to greatly simplify that task. And as full disclosure before we jump into this, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. All right, well what are we waiting for, Lets jump on the PC. So here I am on my desktop and what were going to do is were going to open up Microsoft Word. Thi

Address Labels allows you to import mailing/card lists from a . csv file. To make this process as simple as possible, Address Labels will look through the titles of the columns to determine which columns are name, street, country etc.
Highlight all of the variables by pressing Ctrl + A. Right-click and select Export Variables to Excel. Click Yes when asked about exporting Labels instead of Values. In Excel use Save As and choose the format CSV (comma delimited) to save a CSV file.
Export to a CSV file Open the list whose data you want to export. From the command bar above the list, select Export Export to CSV as the type of data output. (On macOS, from the command bar above the list, simply select Export to CSV.) Select Open to open the file in Excel.
We can convert the list to a CSV file by using NumPys savetext() function. The savetxt() function save an array to a text file. We can also use the savetxt() function to save the data into a CSV file.
In Excel, click FILE, Save As, and choose a location. Type a file name, click Save as type, and then select CSV (Comma delimited). Save the mailing list as a new file in the CSV format and click Yes.
In your Excel workbook, switch to the File tab, and then click Save As. Alternatively, you can press F12 to open the same Save As dialog. 2. In the Save as type box, choose to save your Excel file as CSV (Comma delimited).
To export Custom Labels into a CSV file Go to: Highlight everything in the Custom Label list view page, from the columns Action, Name, Categories, Short Description, Value, and Language all the way down to the last custom label you see on the page. Copy the selection.
Once the writer object is created, we can append the list to the csv file using the csv. writerow() method. The csv. writerow() method, when invoked on a writer object, takes a list as its input argument and appends it to the csv file referred by the writer object.
