hello this is pat mcmahons woodshop this is a follow-up tutorial from the last one where we created a flag in our v-carve this one will show you how to add a v-car picture or spg on the flag again im not sponsored by metric im just trying to help some others out all right so we have our flag that we made from the previous tutorial um were gonna grab the picture whatever you have that youre trying to add on top of the flag ive got an eagle i pulled from wikipedia commons uh so were just going to use it to start with when you first drag your picture in if you unflick it when you go to re-click it its not grouped so you just go ahead and select the whole thing and then go to edit objects and go ahead and group it this is just going to make it easier for now im going to go ahead and ctrl c and ctrl d to copy and paste because im going to do this twice im going to do it once in the stripes and then ill do it again in the stars just to show you all right so im going to take this
