How to IFC DMS Prevent Printing PDF
In this video, we demonstrate how to disable PDF printing. First, locate the document in Windows Explorer, right-click on the PDF, and select "Make Secure PDF" in the PDF writer. In the printing tab, ensure that the allowed printing checkbox is deselected. Click "Publish" to confirm the protection status. The protected document now has a .pdc extension and can only be opened with the Lock Lizard Secure PDF Viewer. Printing is disabled, as indicated by the greyed-out print icon. This effectively prevents any printing of the document.

Why is my PDF not allowing me to print?
If you have the original source file that the PDF was created from, recreate the PDF. Open the file in the original program (such as a word processing or a page layout program). Choose File Print, and then choose the option to save the file as a PDF. Open the new PDF, and try printing again.
How do I bypass PDF print protection?
How To Print a Secured PDF First, go to the PDF Unlocker. Upload your PDF file via drag-and-drop. Tick the checkbox to swear that you have editing permission. Click Unlock and download your PDFnow ready for printing.
How do I print a PDF that is not allowed to print?
I cant print a PDF file. How do I get it to print? Open the File Menu. Select Print The Printing window will appear. Click Advanced Put a check in the box next to Print as Image Click OK to close the Advanced window. Click OK to print.
