Working with highlights To jump to highlighted text, do the following: Click Show/Hide Navigation Panel on the top toolbar to show the Navigation panel. In the Navigation Panel, click the Bookmarks tab. Click on the highlight to jump to specific highlighted text.

Thats probably because you have saved the file to PDF by printing, which flattens the document and makes the hyperlinks inactive. Or when you convert another file format to PDF, the URLs may not be picked up automatically because you dont have Create links from URLs enabled on Acrobat.

You can use different colours to highlight different areas depending on your needs. Click and drag the cursor to select the text area to highlight, releasing when youve finished.

Choose Edit Link Add or edit a link, and select the area for the link. In the Create Link dialog, set the link appearance. In the Actions tab, select Go to a page view. Set the page number and view magnification that you want in the parent PDF document or file attachment.
