Assigning Licenses to a Group Go to the Azure AD blade and select Licenses. Next, select All products under manage and youll see a listing of the licenses available within your tenant. Select the license you want to work with (for this example, I selected E3) and then select Assign from the top of the menu.
Group licensing means an agreement or agreements to allow a 3rd party the right to use the name, image, and likeness rights and athletic reputation of a group of athletes.
Spot check some users to verify that they have both the direct and group licenses applied. Go to the profile page for a user, select Licenses, and examine the state of licenses. This confirms that the user has both direct and inherited licenses.
For all the groups features, if you have an Azure AD Premium subscription, users can join the group whether or not they have an AAD P1 license assigned to them. Licensing isnt enforced.
Before creating a new Office 365 account you can easily check for license availability by going to the Billing section in the Office 365 Admin Portal and click on Licenses. This real time report shows the list of active subscriptions, the number of Valid licenses and how many are assigned.
First, connect to your Microsoft 365 tenant. To list all of the users in your subscription, use the Get-AzureAdUser -All $true command.
Go to Azure Active Directory Groups. Select the group that licenses were assigned to. On the group page, select Licenses. This lets you quickly confirm if licenses have been fully assigned to users and if there are any errors that you need to look into.
