This video tutorial demonstrates how to disable printing in a PDF document using a PDF writer. After locating and selecting the document in Windows Explorer, navigate to the Printing and Viewing tab in the PDF writer. Deselect the allowed printing checkbox and then publish the document. The protection status window will confirm the successful protection. The protected PDF will now have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with the Lock Lizard Secure PDF viewer. Printing will be disabled, as shown by the greyed-out print icon in the viewer. No printing or keyboard shortcuts will work on this protected document.
