We do not collect or sell data from the information on your tax return. That information is always kept confidential between you and the IRS.

Can I download a copy of my tax return?

Online. People can use Get Transcript Online to view, print or download a copy of all transcript types. They must verify their identity using the Secure Access process.

Can you file multiple returns with FreeTaxUSA?

If you filed your federal return with us: You can file any number of state returns with your federal return or after it has been accepted.

How long does it take to get your money from FreeTaxUSA?

From our experience, most customers get their federal refund in about 7 to 14 days if they e-file and choose direct deposit.

Can I download my tax return from FreeTaxUSA?

Once youve completed your tax return, you can view the status of your return or download and print a copy of your return on the View Return Status and Print Your Copy screen. To download a copy of your return, simply click on the Download button.

Does the IRS approve FreeTaxUSA?

TurboTax and FreeTaxUSA both offer DIY audit support, meaning you get help learning how to respond to the IRS. However, FreeTaxUSA only offers its Audit Assist product if you pay for the Deluxe version. TurboTax has a more robust version with its third-party service called MAX.

Can you file 2 different tax returns at different times?

No, you cannot change or add anything on the return that you just e-filed. It is too late, just like when you put an envelope in a US mailbox. You also cannot just file another return for that W-2. Now you have to wait until the IRS either rejects or accepts your return.
