hi Im Ted today Im going to show you how to format column widths and pixels in excel its actually in Excel they refer to points not pixels but its the same concept its the smallest division that you can you can set on a column width so you may have tried to go select a column and go to the format menu format column width and at least on this computer its going to give it to you in inches and theres theres no way to to change that to points but what you can do is instead of going through the menus actually put your cursor just to the right of the column header and you can actually change the width directly like that and its really nice because you can see exactly how many points and also how many inches at the same time so if we wanted exactly lets say 50 points we go out to here and just kind of very slowly if you got a mouse thats not too sticky we got 250 points so you just go ahead and do that so I hope this has been helpful Im Ted and today I showed you how to format a
