hello guys welcome to my channel today in this video im going to show you how to fix when dot txt file is opening with wordpad instead of notepad on windows 10 so here i have one text file so if i double click on it it is opening with wordpad by default it is replaced by wordpad but i want this file to be opening with notepad so if i make a right click then i can see the option which says open with and then i can select notepad and then i can open it with notepad but i dont want this i whenever i double click i want it to be opening with notepad instead of wordpad now in order to fix this problem go to the start menu then click on the settings icon click on settings then click on apps then scroll down go ahead and select default apps first so select default apps then scroll down and here you can see the option which says set defaults by app so click on it then scroll down and find notepad in the list so here you can see notepad click on it then click on manage and then here you can
