hows it going this is robert here uh at a customers house just looking into some cosmetic and should i say non-cosmetic damage uh some damage i can take down your door in the long run uh if you look at this panel here i dont know theres a dent here probably from a basketball or something along that size this is what we would consider a cosmetic dent it just causes the embossment to be pushed in its not a structural area of the door per se you can take a piece of wood like a 2x4 and gently push that out it wont be perfect but it will cover the area in which to where it looks appealing again if you come over to this section of the door in between the two sections themselves theres a dent here and a dent below over time over wear and tear these two dents because of the integrity at these points can cause your door to crack if you catch it initially in the long run we can put a strut per se or something along those lines that can save your section thats something youll want to do

The dent repair cost may range from $50 to $2,500. Although that's a broad range, most small dents that are roughly an inch in size may cost around $50 to $125. Small indentations may come from a flying rock or piece of hail. Dents stemming from a collision are typically larger and cost $150 or more.
Heat and Cold First, try heating the dented area with a heat gun or hair dryer for several minutes. Keep the heat source moving so the surface heats even-ly. Frequently, this alone is enough to remove the dent. If it isn't, immediately apply something very cold to the dent while it's still hot.
Pop out the dent with a hair dryer and compressed air This will expand the dent and make it more pliable. When the car is hot to the touch, immediately spray the dented area with a can of compressed air. The cold air coming from the can will cause the area to contract. This should make the dent pop out.
