hey watercolor Wizards Roger here today Ill be showing how to use a proportional divider as a tool while freehand drawing I previously did a video showing 5 ways to draw anything that you should totally check out and included a proportional divider but this video provides more information including comparing a cheaper and more expensive proportional divider part blogs QA sketches deconstructed paintings video notes art gifts and more rewards are available for my patrons on patreon so first I started by choosing an image I wanted to draw in this case a nice daffodil type of flower for many years now if Im using reference for a particular artwork I just freehand sketch by looking at the reference on my laptop computer screen this saves a lot of paper and ink and its better for the environment and if you want you can use any proportional divider on a digital screen carefully or on a hard copy printed reference for this demo I printed out the flower reference as its much easier to fi

A Base64 string will end with == if and only if the number of bytes it encodes, mod 3, equals 1. Do you see the pattern? It happens that 16-byte (128-bit) encryption keys are very commonly encoded in Base64, and since 16 mod 3 = 1, their encoding will end with == .
Base64 is a group of similar binary-to-text encoding schemes that represent binary data in an ASCII string format by translating it into a radix-64 representation. The term Base64 originates from a specific MIME content transfer encoding.
With padding, a base64 string always has a length that is a multiple of 4 (if it doesn't, the string has been corrupted for sure) and thus code can easily process that string in a loop that processes 4 characters at a time (always converting 4 input characters to three or less output bytes).
BASE64 characters are 6 bits in length. They are formed by taking a block of three octets to form a 24-bit string, which is converted into four BASE64 characters.
In computer programming, Base64 is a group of binary-to-text encoding schemes that represent binary data (more specifically, a sequence of 8-bit bytes) in sequences of 24 bits that can be represented by four 6-bit Base64 digits.
When decoding Base64 text, four characters are typically converted back to three bytes. The only exceptions are when padding characters exist. A single = indicates that the four characters will decode to only two bytes, while == indicates that the four characters will decode to only a single byte.
Base-64 maps 3 bytes (8 x 3 = 24 bits) in 4 characters that span 6-bits (6 x 4 = 24 bits). The result looks something like "TWFuIGlzIGRpc3Rpb...".
Base64 only contains A–Z , a–z , 0–9 , + , / and = . So the list of characters not to be used is: all possible characters minus the ones mentioned above. For special purposes . and _ are possible, too.
The equals sign "=" represents a padding, usually seen at the end of a Base64 encoded sequence. The size in bytes is divisible by three (bits divisible by 24): All bits are encoded normally.
