Microsoft PowerPoint files are often shared via email or online so you may need to compress the file down so that it fits as an attachment. Lets learn how to compress and reduce the file size. The first tip is to click on any image in your presentation and compress them all. Images usually add the most weight to a PowerPoint file size. Lets come up to the Picture Tools Format menu and choose Compress Pictures. Im going to live the top two boxes checked, and then choose Use default resolution for now, and press OK. This will reduce the resolution of an image and the space used by them in the presentation file. Now well go to the File Save As menu and the choose Save Options. Im going to go to the Advanced option, tick Discard editing data and then well change the Default resolution to a lower resolution to save some serious space. Now well go back and just save the presentation as a new file. This creates a separate PowerPoint presentation that will save some space versus the o

Under Save Send, click Send Using E-mail. Click Send as Attachment to attach your presentation to an email message. Click Send a Link to create an email message that contains a link to your presentation.

Open an existing presentation or create a new presentation that you want to insert slides into. On the Home tab, under Slides, click the arrow next to New Slide, and then click Insert Slides from Other Presentation. Select the presentation that you want to insert, click Insert all slides, and then click Insert.
To add an Attachment: Navigate to Edit Presentation. Select Add attachment from the Things you can do menu. Click Browse to locate a file OR type the Web URL. Update the Title if desired. Click Save.
