[Music] hi my name is christian reyes and im a software expert and im going to show you how to convert a microsoft word file into an rtf file so uh this is a pretty simple to do uh rtf stands for rich text format its just a its a different uh format to view documents sometimes people dont have microsoft word so when you send them a microsoft word file they wont be able to open it so this this basically applies to every microsoft office product so microsoft excel microsoft word you can uh you can save uh files uh under the rtf format right so what you need to do i just pasted some random text that i got off of a google site and all you got to do is go to file save once youre done with your document and change right here where it says format you want to select rich text format rtf its right there and just hit save and now the document is saved on the rtf so you can send it to people and they should be able to open it if if they dont have microsoft word so that is how you conver
