As you know form fields actually cant be used in headers and footers where youre trying to repeat that header if youre trying to use a REF field. Double click the header or footer area to make it active. This also activates the Header Footer Tools section on Words Ribbon. On the Design tab of that area, select the Different First Page check box. This action gets rid of the header and footer from the first page.

Select Layout Breaks Next Page. Double-click the header or footer on the first page of the new section. Click Link to Previous to turn it off and unlink the header or footer from the previous section.
