in this video will highlight the format painter feature within quarkxpress 2019 to begin well start with the eyedropper tool which can be found on your toolbar youll use the eyedropper tool when format painting non-text assets to copy the styling of an asset with the eyedropper tool selected left-click on an asset that youd like to copy youll now see the eyedropper icon is filled with the eyedropper filled left-click on the asset youd like to receive the styling it seems weve moved the image when we applied the stylings so lets undo and to select which attributes wed like to paste onto the new asset well shift click and open this dialog which shows you all the attributes which youve copied over from your original item you can now toggle any attributes you dont want to bring over once you click OK the eyedropper will continue to paste this new styling on any other items you can also hold shift and alt when clicking on an item to copy its style and open the attributes pop up
