On the Design tab, select Watermark. In the Insert Watermark box, select Picture Select Picture, and then browse to the picture you want to use. Next to Scale, make sure Auto is selected and Washout is checked, and then choose OK.
To change the alignment of your watermark text, click and hold the rotation handle at the top of the text box while you move your mouse left or right. Select the text in the text box. Choose a light font fill color, and then make any other changes that you want to the font and style.
Choose the picture you want, and select Insert. On the Layout tab, under Page Background, select Watermark. Select Picture. Choose Select Picture, and then locate the picture that you want to use as a watermark. Choose Insert, Notes:
Click the watermark to select it. On the Drawing Tools tab, click the WordArt Styles dialog box launcher. In the Format Shape pane, on the Text Fill Outline tab , click Text Fill, choose the color that you want, and then set the Transparency slider to 80 percent.
Right-click the slide and click Format Background. In the Format Background pane on the right, click Picture or Texture Fill, and under Insert picture from, click an option. In the Format Background pane, slide the Transparency bar to the right to set the transparency percentage.
Navigate to Slide Master Tab - if you are not already in Slide Master view, navigate to the Slide Master tab on the top ribbon. Select Lock Shapes from the top ribbon. The file will close briefly then re-open. Once re-opened the PowerPoint watermark will be locked to the Master Slides to prevent editing or removal.
Keeping your watermark in the corner with the opacity set to around 50% or less is a good idea. The most important thing to notice is that it looks professional. Watermarks distract when theyre too bold, but also when they look shabby and as if they were made using Microsoft Paint.
Select the picture youd like to make transparent and on the Picture Format option, click on color to select the color. It will color the entire picture in a faded or tinted manner. You could even use the preset color options or pick a color of your choice to fade your picture.
