This video demonstrates how to disable printing in a PDF file for protection. To do this, open Windows Explorer and locate the document, right-click on the PDF, and select "Make Secure PDF" in the PDF writer. In the printing and viewing tab, make sure the "Allowed Printing" checkbox is deselected. Click "Publish" to confirm the protection status. The protected document now has a dot pdc extension and can only be opened with the Lock Lizard Secure PDF viewer. Printing is disabled, and the print icon will be greyed out in the viewer.
