In this screencast, we demonstrate how to convert form-based PDF contracts into structured data by creating a document parser to extract key information from a standardized lease agreement. We begin by selecting "standardized contracts" as the document type and upload sample contracts to establish parsing rules. The first parsing rule extracts the signatory's name by drawing a selection around the relevant data, which is then processed to separate the first and family names using a text manipulation filter. The second rule is set to extract the signatory's date of birth by selecting a date preset and defining the data location.
