what is going on guys welcome back in todays video were going to learn how to extract information from pdf files in python so lets get right into it [Music] all right so when preparing the code for this video i wanted to find a solution where i can use just one simple python library to work with pdf files to extract tables to extract images to extract text and so on all with one simple library and even though i think its possible to do all this with one of these libraries i figured out that its better or easier to use different libraries for the different use cases so if you want to extract images theres a library that makes it easy for you if you want to extract text theres a library that makes it easy for you and if you want to extract tables there is a different library that makes it easy for you so were going to do in todays video three sections where we use three different python packages to do three different things with pdf files if youre working on a huge pdf parsing

Separate pages with a PDF reader. Open your PDF in Preview. Navigate to File Print. A new dialog box will appear. Under Pages, select the page number you want to save separately. From the dropdown, change from PDF to Save as PDF. Choose your desired location for the new file and select Save.
Open the PDF in Acrobat. Choose Organize Pages Split. Choose how you want to split a single file or multiple files. Name and save: Click Output Options to decide where to save, what to name, and how to split your file.
Here is how you can extract pages using docHub: Press Control (on Windows) or Command (on Mac) and click on the pages you want to extract. Right-click on the selected pages. Choose Extract Pages In the new dialog box, check Extract Pages As Separate Files if you want each page as a separate PDF.
Additionally, extracting pages that have been digitally signed, but not certified, will remove the signatures from the extracted pages. Go to Document Pages Extract Pages. Select the Page Range to be extracted from the Pages menu. Delete Pages After Extracting: Select to remove the pages from the current PDF.
How to extract pages from a PDF Open the Organize Pages tool. Click the Select a File button. Open a PDF you want to extract pages from. Select Extract in the top menu. Highlight pages you want to extract. Click Extract to extract the selected pages. Save your new PDF.
Extract random pages from a PDF You can also select and extract discontinuous pages from the page thumbnails in the left navigation pane of Acrobat. Steps: From the short-cut menu of the page thumbnail, select Extract pages. In the Extract Pages dialog, specify the pages you want to extract and select OK.
How to natively extract PDF pages on an Android. Open your PDF on your Android. Tap the three-dot menu button. Tap Print. Select a printer and choose Save as PDF. Tap the dropdown button below Paper size and change the Pages to be Range of 8 instead of all. Enter the pages you wish to extract.
Click the envelope name to go to the Details view. In the document panel on the right, locate the page you want to download and click the download icon.
