Open your PDF in the Preview app. Open the thumbnail view and select the page or pages you would like to separate. Drag and drop the pages to your desktop or to another folder.
Scroll pages: Swipe up or down on the trackpad using two fingers. Go to a specific page: Click a thumbnail, or choose Go Go to Page. Go to the previous or next page: Click the Previous button or the Next button in the Preview toolbar. (If you dont see the buttons, choose View Customize Toolbar, then add them.)
How to extract pages from a PDF Open the Organize Pages tool. Click the Select a File button. Open a PDF you want to extract pages from. Select Extract in the top menu. Highlight pages you want to extract. Click Extract to extract the selected pages. Save your new PDF.
Without Acrobat. Find the PDF in Finder. Right-click on the file. Select Open With Preview. Click File Export. Set the Format drop-down menu to JPEG. Name the file and choose where you want to save the converted file. Then, click Save.
Extract from PDF using Preview Launch Preview and open your PDF. Preview is the default PDF reader for macOS. In the menu bar at the top of the screen, click the View menu and choose Thumbnails. Choose which pages of your PDF you will extract. Hold down the Command key as you click each page.
Use the Finder to open your PDF in Acrobat, then select File. From the drop-down menu, select Export to Image. Choose the image format you want to export your PDF as, such as JPG. Click Export.
Extract a PDF page as an image In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF file, choose View Thumbnails, then select the page in the thumbnail sidebar. Click File Export, type a name, add a tag (optional), then choose where you want to save it.
To convert PDF to JPEG Open the PDF in Acrobat. Select Convert from the global bar. From the left panel, select image format, and then from the drop-down menu, select JPEG. Select Convert to JPEG. In the dialog that opens, select a location where you want to save the file and if required, change the file name.
