Press Control (on Windows) or Command (on Mac) and click on the pages you want to extract. Right-click on the selected pages. Choose Extract Pages In the new dialog box, check Extract Pages As Separate Files if you want each page as a separate PDF.
Go to Tools Export PDF. There are multiple exported formats you can choose from. Click Spreadsheet and choose one version of Excel. Hit the Gear icon and adjust the settings about Excel.
To add a PDF file to an Excel document on a Mac, you can follow these steps: Click on the cell where you want to insert the PDF file. Go to the Insert menu and select Object. In the Object dialog box, select Create from file and then click Browse. Locate the PDF file you want to insert and select it.
Import PDF data into Excel Open an Excel sheet. Data tab Get Data drop-down From File From PDF. Select your PDF file click Import. Youll now see a Navigator pane displaying the tables pages in your PDF along with a preview. Select a table click Load.
How to convert a PDF to Excel using Microsoft Excel Open a new spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel. Navigate to the Data tab. Choose Data from Picture Pick your PDF file to convert it.
If you are using a Mac, there is a free solution for converting PDFs to CSVs using the native Preview app. Open your PDF in Preview. Choose the tables or parts you want and Control-click to select the copy. Paste the content you copied to a CSV or Excel file, and save it as a CSV later on your computer.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF you want to copy from. Do any of the following: Copy text: Choose Tools Text Selection, drag over the text, then choose Edit Copy. Copy a portion of text vertically: Choose Tools Text Selection, hold down the Option key as you select the text, then choose Edit Copy.
